The other day, we had some friends over for dinner. I did not have enough time to plan as it was actually a last minute decision. Nevertheless, I decided to put my cooking skills to test so that we didn’t have to buy food (I’ve been a huge money saver lately and I am so glad about how far I’ve come). Save those dimes people, you never know what comes up.
Hello lovely people! I’ve been wanting to put up this kind of post for a while now, in my modesty section, which I’ve seriously neglected but I am changing this from today. Modesty is a personal choice and lifestyle where you decide to consciously conceal your body not like hiding but revealing your dignity. It is so important and I cannot stress enough how every lady has a responsibility to take great care of her appearance.
So the other day, I had to get this shoot on so I can post a few photos here on the blog I hope you enjoy!
Friday is usually my wash hair day, since I started taking good care of my natural hair. It happened at the start of March, (a couple of weeks, yeah!) and I am loving it. Taking personal care of my hair got to be the best decision ever like really! This has got to be another blog post coz it is too long of a story.
The soothing breeze, the sweet sound of waves crashing against the shore, the sound of sea motors, the view… I am already daydreaming, literally! Who doesn’t love the beach? No one!
For our #food #Thursday date, we are making some chicken fillet. These have to be the best you have ever tasted, for me they are. Special feature: Shazjoe. Allow me not to story tell, but get right to it, will you? Thanks!
If you are part of my social media community, then you’d probably know I went shopping last week. It was not your ordinary kind but hair products shopping. My sweet honey pie girlfriend offered to take me wherever I wanted to go at least once a week. Isn’t she the sweetest bestie you could ever have? Bless her heart! xoxoxoxo to the moon and back. Obliviously, I had my little prince charming with me…do I ever leave him? We had a great time I’d do this any day any month any year lol.
She enjoyed the happiest moments anyone can ever imagine; a loving family, adorable kids, successful life.. name it all. I would always watch in admiration and often thought that the maker really had a soft spot for her. I wanted to be like her, when I grew up only that I did not know what it took for her to be there. I intended to find out one day, at least I hoped I would. Her effortless smile always left me wanting to ask her more about herself, one day I did.
This is going to be a quick one, I promise. One month down, since I picked myself up and eventually set up a blog (finally). At some point, I had many questions in my head whether I should go through with it or not. Days passed which eventually turned to months of thinking and lining up the goals, all in my head. Then, one day I finally said it.
Spaghetti or noodles (as some would call them) are a staple for me. I love how simple they are to prepare, in countless, different ways with unlimited ingredients, and I am not kidding, they blend in with almost all ingredients I enjoy. The versatility of this dish is super amazing (bloggers invent their own language as they go). Let’s get right to it, shall we?
It is interesting, how people set resolutions at the end or start of a year. The practice is commendable only that, it is always good to break down your goals into smaller chunks such that, you will know your progress, based on how far you are at any time of the year. On that note, I’d like to list down must have goals as we take on March.
